Beginning at the End of Ourselves

Reading through chapter 3 of Radical and then the assigned scripture passages I am reminded that we all too often try to do spiritual work with natural strength. It just isn't going to happen! Just a clue for those coming to class - we are going to spend most of our time comparing the truth in John 15 with the power passage in Romans 6. Here are some key words for you to think about: ego, recognition, accomplishments, death to self, power life, and offer!

Using several translations I have discovered that the command abide in me is also translated remain in me and stay joined to me and live in me.
