Growth Rings

The best way to grow spiritually is in community. A small group of 5 to fifteen people is the most ideal setting for solid spiritual growth.

Crossroads is built on a network of small groups. Small groups range in size from two to twenty and meet in homes throughout our valley. The meeting time and place is determined by the small group leader or HOST. Usually a group will meet every week for six weeks. Small groups launch new seasons three times a year – in the fall, at the beginning of the year and near Easter.

A variety of topics are studied in the Bible study portion of small groups. Group leaders are free to choose the curriculum for their respective groups. Groups that are led by HOSTs rely on instruction that is available on DVD.A small group offers friendship and fellowship to the participant and a great level of pastoral care. Often group members arrive at the hospital to visit a fellow member before a member of pastoral staff.

Crossroads also currently offers small groups for support of those who are single, divorced or experiencing grief.
