Steve L. Vaughn-
Senior Pastor
Steve was born and raised in Hereford, TX. He attended Southern Nazarene University where he received a degree in Religion. Steve also completed a masters degree in Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University. LeeAnn is a nurse by trade and works in the field of health care insurance.
Steve has been married to LeeAnn (Powers) for 39 years. They met at SNU and started an incredible journey that included two wonderful children, Keileigh and Kamron.
Keileigh is married to Nolan Neugebauer and lives in Texas where she works as an MBA and Nolan as a school principal. Their two kids Kaleb and Addie are the lights of the world and call Steve the big Kahuna or Huna for short. They were never allowed to call him grandpa (made him feel old). Kaleb is tenderhearted and has great compassion. Addie will one day rule the world with her charm and passion. They both love the Lord which makes any man happy.
Kamron is married to Kaylee ( Couhenour ) Vaughn and they live in OKC. Kamron is a AD and coach and Kaylee works for a non-profit that helps underprivileged kids succeed in life. They have one son, Silas, who is busy with life always and the life of the party, and a daughter, Vera, who captured Huna's heart by her smile and telling her daddy what to do!
Steve enjoys spending time travelling with the love of his life, LeeAnn, working on old cars and trucks and cheering for his favorite sports teams the Texans and the University of Texas Longhorns.
His favorite books (besides the Bible) is, "God works the NIght Shift", by Ron Mehl and In A Pit With A Lion On A Snowy Day, by Mark Batterson.
Steve's motto for life: "I want the kind of faith that charges the gates of hell with a squirt gun knowing God has my back."
